Capabilities
We think Family Medicine/Internal Medicine when looking for new studies. Uniquely, we draw upon an approximately 5,000 patient-base, all of which come from our Principal Investigator's, and our Sub-Investigator's practices.
Hyperlipidemia, Type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, osteoarthritis, gastrointestinal disorders are some of the diseases strongly represented in a practice which spans ages from 20's to 80's.
Phases
We concentrate, primarily, on PHASES 2 THROUGH 4.Diagnoses
Some of our recent studies include:- Cardiovascular disease in the African-American population
- Two phase 3 studies in patients with hyperlipidemia
- A phase 3 study pertaining to the efficacy of a compound to be used in the treatment of C. difficile
- Two phase 4 studies in patients with osteoarthritis, which provide data on the long-term effects on cardiac health and the gastrointestinal system
- A study of type 2 diabetics who are poorly controlled on metformin, using add-on therapy of either Avandia or Actos
